On the 20th March, 2015 I travelled to the Faroe Islands, a small archipelago group of islands situated north of Scotland and west of Denmark, to photograph the “scene” there leading up to, and during, the total eclipse of the sun.
The Faroes were one of only two places on land in the world, where the total eclipse could be witnessed.
The population of the islands was swelled manyfold by visitors from all over the world hoping to view the Eclipse.
On arrival on-site it was raining with blanket cloud. As the eclipse began the clouds broke. Luckily!
