LensCulture Exposure Awards 2018
I’m pleased to announce that I am a winner at this year’s LensCulture Exposure Awards – and a Jurors’ Pick.
My photo-series titled “We gave you forgiveness… (you kept the Krugerrands)” is about economic inequality in today’s South Africa. In this work, I have embellished my images with lines, marks and colouring to disrupt the conventional perspective associated with the medium and the subject matter – and in a nuanced way convey deeper meaning to the imagery.
My photographs will be exhibited at Photo London, Somerset House in London during, 17-20 May 2018
