18th Century rustic 5-Pronged Eel Spear Gleave from Cambridgeshire Fens
A superbly sculptural English 5- prong, eel spear head originating from the Cambridgeshire Fens in England.
Dating from the 18th Century ( or early 19th C.) it is entirely original, showing signs commensurate with its age - one small honest repair to one of the fingers, done many years ago - otherwise In excellent condition throughout.
Dimensions are: 12 inches tall x 6 inches wide.
All in all a great fishing, country, folk art item that can look wonderful as an interior decoration item. Please note stand not included.
