  • Naive painting of French farmhouse with a thatched roof and painted windows, dated 1915.

Typical of naive art probably made by the farmstead's owner or family member - its simplicity belies its charm. It captures all the architectural details of the building extreemly well and makes for a good record. Housed in a period frame.

Its condition can be desribed a "good" for its age, there is some surface wear and a few marks, but nothing that distracts.
