As a still life artist, I'm particularly interested in the placement of shapes & forms and how they "work" together. My series of groupings of old working boats - often leaning into each at "drunken" angles - & always surrounded by wide expanses of muted colour representing the expansive sky & seascape vistas of my home county Norfolk - are a constant theme of my work. I also paint groupings of fishermen's huts in a similar manner.
